Feeling Less Mindful During COVID-19? Here’s a Guided Meditation.
It’s undeniable that COVID-19/Corona Virus has brought us a variety of emotions and uncertainty. What do I do to stay healthy? How do I cope with physical (social) distancing? What do I do with all of this extra time? Should I be more productive? Should I be depressed about being healthy and safe at home?
I could fill an entire page with the questions I’ve heard from clients and have had myself. With all of these questions and thoughts that might be swirling in your head or bogging you down, consider meditation as a tool to help you achieve a state of Calm.
Within two weeks of lockdown here in Ontario, I lead a guided meditation for employees of a local office who were adjusting to the “work from home” routine. As stale energy and resistance increase and mindful practices seem to get harder, the usefulness of meditation has also increased. If there’s nothing else you feel like doing today, consider this 20 minute guided meditation— play it for as long or as little as it is useful to you in the moment and return to it as frequently as you need!
